At Autodesk University 2024, HP partnered with Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA CODE and ZHVR Group) to showcase HP’s new Captis Digital Material Scanner, powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson AGX Xavier™ module. ZHVR Group presented their workflow using the Captis scanner to capture and integrate high-resolution materials into virtual reality environments at the HP booth, , demonstrating how this technology enhances immersion and design accuracy in simulated architectural spaces.
Vishu Bhooshan from ZHA’s CODE team led a breakout session on Tuesday, October 15, focusing on AI workflows in architecture. The hour-long session, titled ‘Teaching Tectonism to AI,’ showcased how ZHA is combining structural topology tools with generative AI to integrate AI into early design stages.
